City of Chicago Food Sanitation License Information

After successfully passing the ServSafe exam:

  • Operators within Chicago may apply for the City of Chicago Food Safety Manager License ($52.00) 
  • Operators outside Chicago may display their ServSafe certificate as proof of certification (no additional city license required in most Illinois jurisdictions as of 01/01/2018)
